Steve Hathcock, a historian and locksmith, will present “Researching & Writing about Local History”. A founding member of the Historical Foundation of South Padre Island, Steve Hathcock also serves as chairman of the South Padre Island Historical Preservation Committee and as a board member of the Cameron County Historical Commission. He has written about South Texas history for the past 25 years and along with his work, he has published four books.
