One of William Shakespear's most famous history plays, features an entertainingly villainous title character as darkly humorous as he is evil. given our fairly recent world history of Hitler, Stalin and other despots, the play continues to intrigue as a metaphor for power politics anywhere. Watch as Richard manipulates and charms to try to win a kingdom een as the ghosts of his victims haunt him, right to the final climactic battle when the unhorsed Richard cries, "A horse! A horse! My Kingdom for a horse!"
