Habitat Tours of Bayside Drive at Laguna Atascosa NWR

Enjoy a guided tour through the habitats of the refuge including thornscrub forest, coastal prairie, wetlands and the scenic Laguna Madre in our air conditioned bus or open-air tram. Discover the history of the refuge - both natural and cultural, see how lands are being managed for wildlife, and view the special wildlife that call deep south Texas home. Binoculars recommended. There will be two stops with short, optional walks. Saturdays, October 4&11 - 9:00am - 11:30am Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, starting October 12 - 9:00am - 12:00pm AND 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tickets $4 for adults (16+), $3.50 seniors (62+), under 16 free. Reservations required, remaining seats will be sold the day of the tour. Call 956-748-3607 ext 111 to make your reservation. Children under age 8 will need a car seat provided. This vehicle is wheelchair accessible.
