Goodwill Cook Off This October Goodwill will be hosting the inaugural Goodwill Cook-Off at Dixieland Park in Harlingen, Texas. The International Barbecue Cookers Association sanctioned event is going to be a great family event with live music, vendors, Sponsor activities and the best barbecue in Texas. We are expecting cooking teams from the entire Rio Grande Valley and surrounding cities competing for best cooked brisket, pork Spare ribs, and chicken. All funds raised will benefit Goodwill's job training and job placement programs, serving people South Texans with disabilities, veterans, at risk youth, and the homeless. Bring your best barbecue cooks to compete and your friends and family to enjoy the entertainment and judge some of the best grilled food in South Texas.
