The Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau (BCVB) along with Anita?s Gourmet will be hosting a tamale cooking demonstration in celebration of National Tamale Day. The demonstration will include which ingredients to use, how to prepare them, and how to cook them. Anita?s Gourmet Tortilleria y? Comida is the oldest Tortillera in Brownsville, established in 1953, having authentic Mexican Tamales using only the freshest ingredients without any preservatives. Tamales are a wonderful food, enjoyed by millions of Americans. Join us in celebrating National Tamale Day on March 23rd.
