The awarded winning Edinburg Folklorico will be having a spectacular presentition at the Edinburg City Auditorium at 7:30 in the even. Our goal is to preserve, promote and develop the arts and culture of the Hispanic Culture for all ages and backgrounds through the art of dance. We believe that the arts are for everyone, that the creative progress is basic aspect of the human experience, and we encourage everyone to participate. Edinburg Folklorico provides a community with cultural, educational, artistic and historical programming, with a focus on the history and evolution of the Mexican Folkloric traditions. Provide opportunities to local community to attend affordable artistic and creative events and educational programs. Encourage and inspire the community to participate in the arts, erasing the boundary between audience and artist. The cultural arts not only enrich our experiences but educate us about the world we live in. The diversity of the world as represented through the cultural arts is one way to share the culture and knowledge of different people and places.
