Summertime marks the beginning of breeding season for a lot of our LRGV resident birds. Join us for a presentation on the types of nests made by various species of birds and their individual building techniques and site preferences. After the presentation we?ll go for a walk on the gardens where we?ll look for nesting mockingbirds, kiskadees, doves, and maybe even hummingbirds! Also, learn what to do if you find a fledgling bird. Registration Required. Date: June 18, 2014 Time: 3-4:30 p.m. Fee: Regular Admission: $3 adults; $2 children, adults 55+, and students; children under 5 free
