Gala Astor Piazzolla
This concert presents music from Argentina by Astor Piazzolla. Mezzo-soprano Valeria Ontiveros will perform exotic tangos and romantic ballads accompanied by the Taffelmusik String Orchestra and pianist Jesus “Willie” Morales. This performance, which will feature tango dancers, will be an outstanding opener for the first Taffelmusik Summer Concert Series here in Brownsville !!!
“A Portion of the proceeds will benefit scholarships for music students, and museums and animal shelters”.
