Beginners Birding Workshop

Join local bird expert John Brush on a Birding Adventure! Participants will learn about birds found in the Rio Grande Valley, how to identify them, and how to become a good birder. The workshop will include time in the classroom followed by a hike on the trails spotting and identifying birds. Participants will also create a mesquite bird feeder to take home so they can continue to attract birds to their own backyard. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to watch and identify birds of the Valley and the memories of an afternoon spent birding.
