About Us

The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) is a type B economic development corporation (EDC) whose purpose is to be a catalyst and proactively partner with organizations who invest resources to improve the city of Brownsville's quality of life by enhancing aesthetic, cultural, and leisure amenities.

Our mission is to find quality of life projects and support economic development opportunities in Brownsville, TX.

The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) has funded over $49.5 dollars in projects and promotion/community events from 2003 to 2016.
