The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center (EWBC) invites you to join us for our Summer Adventure at the Wetlands. This late afternoon full of fun also celebrates the families who participated in the Family Summer Adventure Challenge. Our Summer Adventure at the Wetlands will be held on Saturday\, August 8\, 2015 from 3-8 pm. Enjoy the different outdoor adventures we have for participants. Activities include making giant soap bubbles\, using binoculars to view our wetland wildlife\, and borrowing dip nets to capture aquatic critters. Inside we will have a microscope station for participants to observe tiny creatures sampled from our ponds. Appreciate wetlands a little more with the help of a slide show and interactive model presentation at 4 pm. At 5:30 pm\, take a seat and learn about the wildlife in our area with a show and tell of skulls\, skins\, and more. At 7 pm we will cap off the evening with our awards ceremony for the Family Summer Adventure Challenge participants and winners. Fee for the Summer Adventure at the Wetlands event is $3 for adults\; and $2 for seniors\, students\, and children. Children 5 years and younger are free. Those with an EWBC family membership are free.
