DESCRIPTION:Get a taste of summer camp with Games\, Craft's\, Tours and More!\n\nThe Girl Scout Camp Program encourages girls to develop independence\, self reliance\, outdoor living skills\, problem solving and community living skills.  In an outdoor environment\, under the supervision of supportive adults\, girls take responsibilty for their daily needs\, ranging from keeping a clean living area to preparing dinner in the outdoors.\n\nCamp Programs also build girls self-confidence and teach them to overcome challenges.\n\nGirl Scouts of Greater South Texas offers day-only\, one-night\, weekend and resident camp programs so that girls use progression to build their comfort to camping.  \n\n	Camp Bayview is used throughout the year for day and weekend outdoor programs\, summer resident camps\, and service unit and troop outdoor events. Program possibilities are endless at Camp Bayview.  Some of the activities girls enjoy at this particular property include outdoor skill building\, nature hikes\, arts and crafts\, nature crafts\, nature identification\, cookouts\, conservation\, sports\, games\, community service\, as well as both cabin and/or tent camping. Our outdoor swimming pool also offers a variety of water activity opportunities which are available with appropriate certified volunteers
