DESCRIPTION:Join the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center for a Birding Competition for the whole family! The ?Bird-A-Thon? competition will run throughout April and will take place in Edinburg. A map of designated areas will be provided. Age divisions include: Youth\, ages 8-12\; Teens\, ages 13-17\; Adults\, ages 18 and up\; and the Family/Mixed Group Division\, ages 5 years and up. The Kick-off will include Team Registration from 8 am to 12 pm\, \, a Bird Walk at 8:30 am and at Bird Sit from 10 am to 12 pm. For more information or to register\, please call (956) 381-9922 on or before March 29th\, 2014. The registration fee is $10 per adult and $8 per child. Each registrant will receive a free t-shirt\, snacks and other goodies.
