DESCRIPTION:Come out and run or walk with family\, friends\, co-workers and\, importantly\, with children! Every step you take and every dollar you raise helps to build an Emergency Shelter for abused and neglected children of the Rio Grande Valley. Join us in\n\npartnership with the City of Edinburg to build a bridge for a brighter tomorrow for abused children in the RGV\n\nTHE AWARDS\n\n \n\n10K and 5K Individual Performance Awards - Trophies will be given to the overall\n\ntop 3 men and top 3 women finishers. Medals will be given to the top 3 men and top 3 women in each of the following age divisions: 12 & under\,13-18\, 19-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\,50-59\, 60-69\, and 70+\n\nThe top overall 10 finishers will be awarded a special commemorative t-shirt.\n\n1 Mile Kids Fun Run Awards- Top 3 boy and top 3 girl finishers in age categories 8 and under\, 9-10\, 11-12 will be given trophies. All children will be given a finishers medal. The top 10 overall finishers will be awarded a special commemorative t-shirt.\n\n \n\nSPECIAL AWARDS Awards will given to 1. The team with the most members 2. The person with the best\n\nangel costume 3. The person wearing the most blue.
